Spirituality Retreat

Impact - This retreat is designed to hit right to the very core of who you are. One of the biggest challenges we face in youth ministry is staying connected and rooted to Christ. We spend so much time ministering to others, but often very little is done to take care of ourselves. This retreat has been put together for YOU!
And its been put together by youth ministers who know what you are going through and who can personally relate to the challenges you face everyday.
Falling in love - again Do you ever wish you could go back to that on fire feeling you had when you first met Christ? Wish you could return to that first love?
Through prayer, small groups, and sessions geared specifically to lead you to a new and authentic encounter with the person of Christ, that is exactly where we hope to go. We will speak of receptivity, conversion, relationships, and understanding your divine purpose. All leading to a new sense of purpose and meaning, not just for ministry, but for the whole of your life!
Fanning the flame - The retreat culminates in a time of commissioning and empowerment, sending you forth in the same spirit as St. Paul, I remind you to fan into flame the gift that was poured out when hands were first laid on you.
Spiritual power - It is our conviction that what is needed today in youth ministry is not another program, not another resource, not another great speaker. What is needed is spiritual power, kindled deep in our hearts and set ablaze in our ministry. Come join us for a time of refreshment and spiritual Renewal!

Youth Minister Spiritual Mentoring
Not quite spiritual direction, but close! This service is offered to youth ministers for a monthly fee. If you desire to grow deeper in your own personal spirituality, and navigate greater depth in your spiritual life, then consider this mentoring package.
Spiritual Assessment - An intensive personal inventory that provides key information to the mentor by identifying areas for potential growth and development.
Spiritual Mentor - A 6-month program of transformation, rooted in developing new habits, shifting lifestyle, fleshing out ones personal mission and strategizing defenses for ones anti-mission. This phase inherently involves tapping into other resources and services such as counseling, therapy, spiritual direction, etc.
Certificate Training for Youth Ministers
For this training, ImpactCenter has a formal partnership with Franciscan University of Steubenville. This is a two-year curriculum offered in various formats where Youth Ministers can get much-needed training.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Effective Youth Ministry cannot be done without volunteers, and those volunteers will only be as effective as the training they have received. Whether ImpactCenter is brought in to provide live training, or we provide you with comprehensive outlines and resources to assist you in doing your own training, ImpactCenter is committed to assisting youth ministers in the training and formation of their volunteers.
We have developed an entire Volunteer Training Curriculum that encompasses 15 different topics and three different levels of depth, depending on where your volunteers are at in their journey of ministry with youth. Key, relevant topics that will meet your volunteers right where they are at, and help them navigate the sometimes-difficult path of ministry everything from personal spirituality to crisis intervention.
Youth ministers can select from the Volunteer Training Curriculum, or ImpactCenter can tailor a training topic that specifically meets your needs.

Youth Ministry Mentoring
One of the keys to success for a youth minister is to be connected to someone older and wiser someone who can offer advice, can help sort through conflicting priorities; someone who can help mentor them.
ImpactCenter is connected to dozens and dozens of older, experienced, veteran youth ministers who can offer just that. For a monthly fee, younger youth ministers can get connected and stay connected to someone who will walk them, journey with them, and help them stay rooted in what is truly important.

Parish Youth Ministry Consulting
If your parish is in need of consultation, for whatever reason, ImpactCenter has a consultant for you. Here are some of the consultations we have offered to date:
•Revamping a youth ministry program and steering in a new direction all the details from full-parish assessment to designing the new program and navigating the implementation
•A new start-up for a parish consulting in selecting the youth ministry model that was the best-fit for the parish and helping design a plan to secure the staffing/volunteer resources to make it work
•Designing a plan for recruiting more volunteers leaders for a parish youth ministry program, and helping create a new training/formation plan for that volunteer team

Discipleship Resource
We have a conviction that Catholic youth ministry, by-and-large, is failing in the critical task of making disciples out of teenagers. We have strived over the past several years to address this serious concern by developing a number of resources that will assist us in intentionally forming young people as disciples of Christ.
We have developed a three-year, 36-topic curriculum of small group Bible study materials to assist youth ministers in this critical work. The curriculum engages the Scriptures in a simple yet dynamic way. Teens who participate in these studies will have a sense of the entirety of Salvation History through studying the Old Testament in year 1, deeply encounter Christ in the Gospels in year 2, and be witnesses to the bold faith of the early Church through the study of Acts and the writings of St. Paul in years 3. Each year also integrates personal prayer and accountability all throughout, and particularly teaches young people the powerful gift of Lectio Divina and how to pray with the Scriptures.
In additional we have developed a training/formation curriculum for the Bible Study leaders. The Bible study resources will only be as effective as the leaders facilitating them. Youth ministers and leaders will have access to formation that will prepare them to be models to the teens they lead. They will study the Scriptures from leading scholars, learn to pray through the same formation program that most seminarians receive, and be connected to a national network of other youth ministers engaged in similar ministry.
